Warren G. Harding (1865-1923) was the 29th President of the United States. He was a newspaper editor in his hometown of Marion, Ohio. He had a radio installed in the White House and he often had poker games there. He was the first President to visit Alaska and Canada while in office. He died in office while visiting San Francisco. He chose William Howard Taft, the 27th President, to be Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
