William Henry Harrison (1773-1841) was the 9th President of the United States. He fought in the Battle of Tippecanoe near the Indiana Territory. He came to Washington, DC on March 4, 1841. It was a cold and wet day and he didn't have a hat or coat on. He gave out the longest inaugural speech in the history of the Presidency. He caught pneumonia and he died. He was the first President to die in office after only one month as President. His grandson is Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States
